We are a new business that is fully committed to our customers in their cutlery needs.  We offer a wide variety of items with edges as I like to call them.  We not only have a vast assortment of knives, we also carry things like swords, machetes, nunchakas, blow guns, fighting staffs and self defense.

We provide a sharpening service for all makes of blades in all industries.  Knife blades are among the most common blades we sharpen for our customers. We machine sharpen using a belt and stropping system, but for delicate work, we use the traditional hand sharpening methods.

Austin Blades has had an increased number of hair salons around the area, starting to bring their shears to us, for that razor sharp edge that we deliver when sharpening hair shears.

Dog grooming blades and grooming shears are becoming one of Austin Blades sharpening specialties.  We recently purchased a new system to sharpen grooming clippers, which will also sharpen clipper blades for the larger animals too.

Kenneth and I grew up with a father that was a custom knife maker.  At early ages for us, our father taught us the  knife sharpening skills and how to make repairs on knives when needed.  He also taught us honesty, quality and integrity, which these three principles, are a lot about what we created this business on.
